Analytics cookies and preference
After acceptance, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies on the OpsRung hostname to distinguish visits. This tag configures a maximum cookie lifetime of 180 days without renewing expiry on each page load. Browser rules can shorten that lifetime. Your accept/reject choice is saved as opsrung-analytics-consent-v1 in local storage for 180 days, separately from learning progress. If preference storage is unavailable, you may be asked again on the next page.

Browser storage
The progress and lab runtime preference features use local storage, a browser storage mechanism separate from cookies. The records stay in this browser for this site address; they do not sync between devices. Practice completion choices also stay in this browser and are not sent to the server.

Remove lesson completion, checklist choices, your Local machine or Docker preference, and your self-reported practice completion choices from this browser for this site. This cannot be undone. It does not delete files or Docker resources you created on your own computer.
