OpsRung provides introductory DevSecOps lessons, cheatsheets, and example files for education. There is no paid service, purchase, or certification. Reading the material does not require an OpsRung account.

Third-party documentation, software, fonts, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and remain subject to their own licenses and terms. This notice does not claim ownership of that material.

Use exercises in an environment you control

Run exercises only on systems and repositories you own or have permission to use. The starter deliberately contains an access-control flaw and synthetic identities. Keep that fixture isolated from real users, production data, and public services.

Review commands before running them

Commands are examples, not instructions tailored to your infrastructure. Replace placeholders and check the selected directory, context, namespace, and target. Some commands change or delete data. Copying a command on this site does not execute it.

Limits of the examples

Software versions and environments vary. Material can contain errors or become outdated. A passing exercise does not establish that a system is secure or ready for production. Review examples before adopting them, and maintain appropriate backups and access controls.

Third-party tools and material

Linked projects, documentation, and tools remain subject to their own terms and licenses. Product names identify the tools discussed and do not imply endorsement or affiliation. This site does not grant rights to third-party content beyond its applicable license.
